Angel's checkup

Angel saw Dr. McNeilly today and received a good report! 

Her weight is a healthy 25 pounds, heart is good and strong, ears are clean, and eyes are clear and bright as always. 

A couple of months ago, Angel appeared to have had some sort of a seizure, which was very alarming. It was very brief, and did not happen again. The vet said this can happen once and not again, but to keep watch for it, and we will be doing just that. 

Angel came home from the vet with a new toy, some treats, and a desire to chase down some chipmunks! I guess you could say she handled her doc visit just fine. Hope her offspring enjoy the same great health as their mama! 

Snoring Angel

Angel is doing great and is as sweet as ever! We're just really busy with an almost-graduate in the house, so I have less time to post about her adventures. 

She fell asleep on my lap a few nights ago, and was soon snoring with her mouth open. It was quite a sight! 

She is so precious and cuddly. She loves to be held and spoiled, and with 4 willing humans, she is in heaven! 

I think she's snoring and smiling at the same time. Funny girl..I was laughing so hard that it was shaking her, but she just kept on sleeping!

I guess she was in dreamland. 

And so are we, with the perfect dog! 

Game Night Angel

Angel loves that we are a basketball-watching house! It means that we are often camped on the couch with her in between us! 

And sometimes she is a wonderful armrest too...

And she's always so sweet and cuddly! 

She rarely gets excited about the game, though, and only wakes up when it's popcorn time. :) 

Heater Hound

Think she's a little spoiled? 

We turn that little heater on for her when she comes in from the outside. 

Some days I would love to be her! 

My Shelter Dog Rescued Me

Angel can't help herself when it comes to a basket of laundry! 

I found this one especially amusing, as you can see my "My shelter dog rescued me" tee shirt is in the basket! 

We have thought about getting her a basket of her own, but I'm pretty sure it's the warm laundry she is drawn to, and not so much the basket! 

What a funny little sweetheart. I love her so...

Ferocious Angel

Serena was trying to get a cute picture of Angel last night, and captured this one of her mid-yawn!! I think this is the funniest picture of Angel ever! She looks like a ferocious wolf! 

We can't stop giggling over this...hope her crazy face makes you smile today! 

Little Red Riding Pup

Oh, how sweet and cuddly she is...

Natalie and Serena covered her up as she slept on the couch, and she just snoozed away happily!
